As part of the second national cinema – award “Toji Somon”, which began on October 15 and will continue until October 18 in Dushanbe, the Cinema Days of the Islamic Republic of Iran began in the Tohir Sobirov cinema.

During the opening of the conference, it was revealed that the historical and cultural ties of both countries have created many opportunities for the joint production of films.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Tajikistan expressed that Tajikistan, as a friendly and brotherly country of the same language and culture has a special position in Iran’s foreign policy. Relations between the two countries are at a very good level in all sectors, especially in theater and cinema, music and film directing.

It should be said that the national film award “Toji Somon” is for the purpose of decently presenting national interests, fostering a sense of patriotism, pride in the creative nation, describing the beautiful nature of the country, attracting tourists, finding unique talents in the field of cinema within the framework of the “Program for the Development of Cinema of the Republic of Tajikistan for the years 2023-2027”.
