The festive gathering dedicated to the Tajik cinema day held at the state institution “Khatlon cinema” and the officials of the field first spoke and mentioned the history of Tajik cinema.

It was mentioned that cinema occupies a greater place in our lives day by day. Because through it we learn the old and new history, we see the bitterness and sweetness of our life in the role of artists, and we cultivate colorful dreams in our imagination. Tajik film art, as a component part of Soviet cinema, is developing at the time of state independence.

The adoption of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Cinema” and the approval of the Program for the Development of Tajik cinema made it possible for different periods, that the state institution “Khatlon cinema” of the executive body of the state power of Khatlon region was established six years ago, and today it has become one of the most productive creative institutions.

As it was informed at the meeting, the state institution “Khatlon cinema” has prepared a lot of films including dozens of documentaries and television spots, most of which have been accepted by the audience.

At the end of the meeting, the leadership of the State Institution “Khatlon cinema” awarded the creative people and a number of experienced and young artists who contributed to the promotion of filmmaking and their development with a certificate of appreciation.
