A solemn ceremony to recognize the winners of the republican competition “Фурӯғи субҳи доноӣ китоб аст” was held at the Sadriddin Ayni State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater with the participation of representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, ministries and departments, executive bodies of state power of regions, cities and districts, competition participants and their parents.

At the opening ceremony of this event, the Chairman of the Commission of the Republican Competition “Фурӯғи субҳи доноӣ китоб аст”, the Deputy Prime Minister of the country Dilrabo Mansuri, spoke and emphasized that under the patronage of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Republican Competition “Фурӯғи субҳи доноӣ китоб аст” has been held for the sixth year in order to enhance the taste for reading, strengthen intellectual potential, pay tribute to national and cultural values, develop creative abilities, strengthen the sense of self-awareness and self-knowledge, improve vocabulary, and promote the development of the spiritual world of all residents of the country.

In the continuation, based on the final results, in which participants from Dushanbe won 43 places, Khatlon region won 35 places, Sughd region won 29 places, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region won 13 places, and cities and districts of republican subordination won 10 places, diplomas and cash prizes were awarded to the winners.

It should be mentioned that this year, this competition was held in 6 nominations – children’s and youth literature and oral works, classical Tajik literature, modern Tajik literature, world literature, poetry and prose among representatives and different segments of society. The winners of the first place were awarded 35,000 somoni, the second place 25,000 somoni, and the third place 20,000 somoni, diplomas, and other commemorative gifts.

Also, 15 out of 21 first-place winners participated in the “Grand Prize” of the republican competition “Фурӯғи субҳи доноӣ китоб аст”, and as a result, 4 of the best participants in 4 nominations were awarded the “Grand Prize”.

In general, it can be said that the holding of the republican competition “Фурӯғи субҳи доноӣ китоб аст” in 2024 was different from previous years, and next year’s participants in this competition will experience a radical change, as, according to the instructions of the President of the country, next year the amount of prizes for the winners of the competition will be 100% higher than this year.
