As part of the Flowers Festival entitled “Sayri guli lola”, 5 million 859 thousand 25 tulips were planted in the city of Dushanbe, which is more than the planned amount. In this context, today the capital of the country has turned into a beautiful, flower-filled city and a place to visit for tourists.

In order to ensure the recreation and entertainment of residents and tourists, officials say that they are constantly carrying out improvement and construction work throughout the year in the city, thus contributing to the beautification of the country’s capital.

Tulips are known as the “bride of the year” and “queen of nature”, and have from 50 to 100 varieties. It should be mentioned that on the fourth Saturday and Sunday of April, Tajikistan will hold the Republican Flower Festival under the title “Sayri guli lola”. This festival is held in the republic starting in 2019.  The goal of holding it is to raise the level of knowledge and enlightenment, culture and worldview, and awaken a taste for beauty in the minds of every resident of the country.
