The regional round of the republican competition “Professional Skill” was held among pupils of secondary vocational education institutions of cities and districts of Sugd region in the classrooms and educational-production workshops of the State Educational Institution “Professional-Technical Construction Lyceum of Khujand City ” in the following professions and specialties: computer system and internet technology, carpenter, plasterer, electrician, accountant, gas and electric welder, auto electrician, car engine mechanic, hairdresser, which pupils study during their studies.

In the cities and districts of the Sugd region, 22 vocational and technical lyceums operate to prepare teenagers and youth for learning the necessary professions and skills. After graduating from grades 9 and 11, pupil in these vocational schools learn theoretically and practically the necessary professions and skills required by the labor market.
