On October 7, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Russian Federation, His Excellency Vladimir Putin.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Head of our state warmly congratulated the President of Russia on his birthday and expressed his best and sincere wishes.

Continuing the conversation, the Head of our state emphasized the significant contribution of Vladimir Putin to strengthening and expanding the relations of friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries.

During the friendly conversation, the heads of the two states welcomed the continuation of intergovernmental dialogue and the further development of this process.

The agenda of the upcoming bilateral and multilateral summit meetings in Dushanbe was also discussed.
