The republican show under the title “Presentation of the folk crafts of the Tajik people” was held with great splendor. This event was organized by the joint initiative of the National Museum, the historical and cultural complex “Khujand Fortress” and the school of revival and development of atlas and address and other folk crafts. 

It was attended by the first deputy head of the region, the director of the National Museum of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and a delegation of guests.  It was noted that more than 60 artisans from the cities and districts of Khujand, Mastchoh, Asht, Istiklol, Bobocjon Gafurov, Buston, Guliston, Spitamen, Shahristan and Istaravshan participated in the exhibition and showed their handmade products. It is a matter of pride and joy that today the number of artists is increasing due to young people, and new talents are entering the field of art and presenting Tajiks on the world stage with their participation in international festivals of art and culture.

At the end of the event, 35 artists were awarded with certificates of appreciation. The holding of the national exhibition “Presentation of the folk crafts of the Tajik people” will help to implement the cultural policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and to present the national crafts of the Tajik people to various sections of the society. Therefore, according to the information, this exhibition is planned for the purpose of publicizing and promoting the folk crafts of ancestors in the cities of Bokhtar and Kulob.
