The ancient city of Kulob, as a part of independent Tajikistan, is currently in a stage of development and progress. Its residents, expressing satisfaction and gratitude for the peaceful atmosphere and the constant initiatives and support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and local authorities, live and work in peaceful conditions of the country.

In order to welcome the 35th anniversary of state independence, the construction of 494 facilities is planned in the city of Kulob. Of this number, 86 facilities are planned in the field of education, 51 in healthcare, 42 in industry, 19 in sports, 51 in tourism and services, 42 in trade, 38 high-rise and administrative buildings, and other facilities in various sectors of the national economy are planned and are being built and put into operation gradually.

According to information, 210 buildings have been put into operation so far from the set of festive facilities under construction, and construction work is currently underway in 169 other buildings. With the expansion of construction and the gradual commissioning of various facilities, favorable conditions for activity, modern opportunities for education and training and vocational training for adolescents and youth are being created.

At the same time, a favorable basis has been created in the city of Kulob for the development of tourism, industry, education and healthcare, culture, construction, roads and transport, agriculture, sports and other important sectors of state management, and many achievements are being made so far.
