“The State Institution “Tajikfilm”, in cooperation with the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, executive authorities of cities and districts, and with the involvement of entrepreneurs and sponsors, will put into operation the “Hiloli” cinema in the city of Vahdat and the “Bahor” cinema in the Rudaki district in accordance with the requirements of the time and equipped with modern cinema screening technology by the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan, which will create a favorable condition for the screening of national films”, the director of the “Tajikfilm” State Institution told reporters during a press conference.

At the same time, it was noted that based on the “Program for the Development of Cinema of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2027” and its action plan for 2023-2025, out of 77 films submitted to the artistic council of the institution.

It was noted that during the reporting period, the holding of the 2nd National Film Festival “Tоji Somon” is considered one of the unique achievements of the industry, and the holding of this festival plays a favorable role in attracting more foreign tourists to our country.
