Every year on the 10th of October, the celebration of the Day of the Falak gives a serious impetus to the revival and development of this national art. In the city of Kulob, this day was celebrated with gratitude from the time of independence with the participation of Falak singers. In front of the Palace of Culture in Kulob city the guests visited the exhibition of handicrafts of the city’s artisans. In this exhibition, musical instruments that are used in the singing of Falak, photos of Falak singers of the Kulob area and various types of Chakan, which, like Falak, are included in the intangible heritage of UNESCO, were presented.
The celebration of the Day of Falak will play an important role in the hearts of every participant and will awaken a sense of respect for ancestral traditions.

In a solemn ceremony, a number of Falak singers and employees of the “Falak” ensemble were presented with honors and gifts from the executive body of the state power of Khatlon region, the Department of culture and the executive body of the state power of the city of Kulob.

On this day, we should mention the names of the best Falak singers, including Odina Hoshimov, Davlatmand Kholov, Gulchehra Sodiqova, Safar Qodirov, Faizali Hasanov, Jumakhon Safarov and dozens of people who founded their Falak school and educated dozens of youth.
