During the period of independence, the social and economic spheres of Temurmalik district developed under the constant attention of the  Leadership of the country and achieved significant successes. 

According to the information, the field of handicrafts is also developing in the district. According  to the officials, the activity of the Folk Crafts Center, and daily activities of the artisans of the 7 township and villages of the district is proof day by day.

The Center of People’s Arts in the district was started in 2017 with the aim of teaching the art of weaving and tailoring to unemployed young women and girls, and 16 weaving machines were installed in it.

According to the information, short-term training courses are held in the craft center 4 times a year to learn the skills of embroidery, like goldsmithing, penmanship, and the graduates are provided with a certificate. At  the same time, those who fully learn these skills are employed in the center. Currently, in this training center, unemployed women are learning how to weave adras. The  head  of the Center believe that in the future, they will attract a large number of women and girls of the district to the art training, and they will also use other devices and equipment.
