The launch of the republican festival under the title “National dress – artefacts of world civilization” is one of the next steps of the Government of the country to preserve and present the cultural dress  of the Tajik nation.

  The team festive procession of more than 5 thousand women of Farkhor district, wearing Tajik national clothes, which embodied the beauty and was considered to be an expression of the Tajik nation’s culture.

Each team participating in the festival, wearing colorful national clothes with a beautiful design, once again presented the culture of Tajik women’s clothing at a high level.

The purpose of this Festival is to increase the feeling of patriotism, culture, promotion of national clothes, presentation of art and crafts of the Tajik people in the international arena.

Besides, during the event, certificates of appreciation and souvenirs were presented to leaders and representatives of various institutions for their active participation in this festival and contribution to the promotion of the culture of national clothing. At the end complete festive cultural program was presented to the participants by the artists of Farkhor district, who sang songs about friendship and the country’s independence.
