At the initiative of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Union for Private Sector Development of Tajikistan, the International Forum “Women in Entrepreneurship” was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dushanbe.

As part of this forum, an exhibition of folk crafts, created by the country’s women entrepreneurs, was displayed.

More than 150 people, including businesswomen from the Republics of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, participated in the forum.

During the forum, it was emphasized that with the direct support of the country’s top leadership over the 33 years of the Republic of Tajikistan’s independence, the status and position of women in society have increased, and women, along with other sectors of the national economy, are making a worthy contribution to the development of entrepreneurship.
