The third forum of rectors of Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus was held at the Tajik Technological University as part of the days of culture of the Republic of Belarus in Tajikistan on the topic “Education as an Important Factor in Strengthening Bilateral Relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus”.

The forum was attended by heads of higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and 12 rectors of the Republic of Belarus.

Before the start of the conference at the university, guests visited an exhibition of folk crafts, fruits and vegetables, and the achievements of teachers and students of this country’s higher education institution.
Strengthening cooperation in education, science, and innovation between Tajikistan and Belarus in the field of the “green” economy, digitalization, issues related to the exchange of teachers and students, holding scientific conferences, participating in the work of councils for the defense of dissertations, organizing mutual learning processes, improving the qualifications of teachers, and introducing digital technologies in education were among the key issues discussed at the forum.

The forum of rectors of Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus is being held for the third year, and in 2022-2023 the first and second forums were held in the cities of Dushanbe and Minsk and 51 cooperation agreements between universities of the two countries are under implementation.
