In the hall of the Palace of Culture of the city of Bokhtar, a ceremony was held to motivate the winners of the regional and republican contests “Тоҷикистон – Ватани азизи ман” “Фурӯғи субҳи доноӣ китоб аст” and “Илм-фурӯғи маърифат”.

Before the awarding ceremony, the participants saw the performance of the winners of the national contests. It was reported that applicants from Khatlon region this year won 67 honorable places from three republican level competitions, two of which are the grand prize.

In the continuation of the event, the leadership of the region noted that this year more than 62,000 pupils, students and different classes of society participated in the above-mentioned contests, and this number is increasing year by year by providing decent conditions for scientific study and encouraging them.

In the continuation of the speech, the head of Khatlon region proposed to declare 2025 as the “Year of reading book culture” in Khatlon region in order to increase the level of knowledge and education of residents, including youth.
