“TAJIKISTAN-IRAN POETRY EVENING” – A CULTURAL EVENT WAS HELD UNDER THIS TITLE IN DUSHANBE

On the sidelines of the state visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to Tajikistan, a cultural event entitled “Tajikistan-Iran Poetry Evening” was held at the National Library.                                                                                              

At the entrance of the National Library of Tajikistan, representatives of the Republic of Tajikistan welcomed the guests and participants of the poetry and literature club of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran with a theatrical performance.

The event was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan – Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran – Rizo Soleh Amiri, ambassadors, poets, writers and representatives of the culture of the two countries – Tajikistan and Iran.

During his opening speech, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan stated that the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which are two countries with the same language and culture and share common historical ties and heritage, will further strengthen and expand the cultural ties between the two countries by holding this event.

The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Rizo Soleh Amiri, stated that Tajikistan and Iran have been able to become known in the world with their world-class thinkers of science and literature. This rich culture and history of the two nations has survived to this day and is expanding year by year.

It should be noted that the “Tajikistan-Iran Poetry Evening” consisted of various sections, and Tajik and Iranian poets and writers were able to exchange experiences on further cooperation in the field of creativity and the development of bilateral relations.

At the same time, at the event “Tajikistan-Iran Poetry Evening”, the country’s singers presented the audience with high-quality songs from the works of Persian and Tajik poets and writers.
