The Sada holiday is a great heritage of our ancestors, and as a manifestation of light and purity, it guides us to creativity and prosperity, honest labor, faith and belief in the original human values, and respect for the rich national history and culture.
Fortunately, this celebration was revived during the country’s independence and is welcomed with special features in every corner of our beloved homeland.
A grand event dedicated to this great holiday was held in the Ismoil Somoni Avenue of the city of Istaravshan. At the event, farmers, artisans and other residents of various professions exhibited their handiwork.
Also, students of the Istaravshan College of Folk Crafts, where crafts are taught through the teacher-student method, demonstrated examples of their handiwork.
It should be noted that Sada, along with Navruz, Tirgon and Mehrgon, is considered one of the four celebrations of the Oriyon people, which was included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List in December 2023, and this ancestral holiday was revived during the country’s independence and is celebrated with special features in every corner of our beloved homeland.
In the continuation of the event, the winners in the nominations for “The best agricultural worker”, “The best peasant farm” and “The best artisan” were awarded with certificates of honor and gifts from the Executive bodies of the State Power of the city of Istaravshan.
