“As follows from the Address of the President of the country, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has taken all measures to include unemployed citizens in vocational training, and currently 65 primary vocational education institutions operate in the Republic of Tajikistan, where professional personnel are trained in 14 areas and 135 specialties,” the Chairman of the Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the country noted during a press conference.

It was said that based on the instructions of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the “Program for Vocational Training of Citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025” has been developed and approved, according to which more and more citizens will be included in vocational training in primary vocational education institutions every year.

During this period, 12,000 citizens completed short-term courses in 50 professions and crafts, including embroidery, atlas and adras weaving, carving, and similar crafts, of which 1,484 were girls.
