An international forum entitled “Navruz – the oldest cultural and tourism heritage of the region” was held at the Sugdiyon hotel in the center of Sugd region the city of Khujand, with the participation of representatives of the tourism industry of the Republics of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, during which issues of development of the industry and the process of joint cooperation in the tourism sector were discussed.

During the forum, representatives of the Kyrgyz and Uzbek republics emphasized that in the future, in order to develop the tourism industry, it is possible, first of all, to jointly present the tourism opportunities of the region and the world, and to establish joint companies to receive tourists from Europe, America and other distant countries, as this factor will contribute to attracting more tourists.

At the International Forum “Nowruz – the oldest cultural and tourist heritage of the region”, which took place in the Sugd region with the participation of representatives of the republics of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, officials reached an agreement on strengthening the development of cooperation in the field of tourism and resolving existing issues in this area.
