In order to promote and encourage the national dress and instill love and affection for the national dress in the hearts of the younger generation, at the initiative of the Department for Women and Family Affairs of the Executive Body of the State Power of GBAR and the city of Khorug, the action “Tojikona mepushem” was held, in which women and girls from departments and institutions and students of Khorug State University participated.  

It should be noted that the national dress is the image of the nation and a pillar of the culture of our ancestors, a relic of the past and has not lost its beauty for centuries.

The goal of holding such festivals – competitions and campaigns to promote national clothes is to revive and develop the original art of our ancestors, and play a valuable role in eliminating xenophobia.
