A ceremonial event dedicated to the Day of the State Language and Teacher’s Day was held at the Tajik State Institute of Arts and Design. Students and teachers of the Institute took part in the event and gave speeches. First, the  director of the Institute made a speech and congratulated students and teachers on  Tajik Language Day and Teachers’ Day. It was noted that the Tajik language is one of the oldest languages and has a great history.

Today, everyone knows this sacred language as the great language of human civilization. The Tajik nation must keep its language clean and protect its purity and sanity. It is worth that the Tajik language is the only language among other languages from the period of its origin and development until now, which has preserved its status for more than a thousand years. Also it should be noted that our language has an ancient history and is a priceless treasure. On July 22, 1989, by the decision of the  Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, the state language was declared as the Tajik language. In the continuation of the event, teachers and students spoke about the status of the teacher’s role in the education and upbringing of the younger generation, and the purity and spirituality of the Tajik language.
