This year marks the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the country. A festive gathering was held in the Abuabdulloh Rudaki Cultural Center in Khujand city to mark this date.

The First Deputy Minister of Defense, the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Head of the Executive Body of State Power of Sughd region, in his first speech, congratulated all military personnel and residents of the region on the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, emphasizing that it was thanks to the state independence and the persistent efforts of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, that the Armed Forces in a very sensitive and difficult historical period, gradually equipped with powerful combat equipment, professional specialists and prepared to defend the homeland.

From the very first days of the establishment of the Armed Forces, despite the extremely limited economic and financial opportunities, the government of the country has taken all measures to build a military infrastructure, establish specialized units and formations, provide them with modern equipment and technology, and create the necessary conditions for service and life, and this process continues today.

Today, modern conditions have been created in all units and structures of the National Army, and the Armed Forces are provided with the latest weapons, heavy combat equipment, and qualified officers.

At the solemn event, a number of military personnel were awarded with certificates of appreciation from the executive bodies of the regional state authorities, as well as commemorative and grateful gifts from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan.
